Last saturday, the 10.12.2016, a grave incident of sexualized violence
happened in NewYorck in Bethanien, in spite of existing awareness
structures.

Already in the past there were different cases of boundary crossings and
sexualized violence at soli-parties in NewYorck in Bethanien. After the
incident last saturday we decided that there will be as of now no more
soli-parties happening in NewYorck until we established a better
awareness structure for parties.

Right now we don’t know how long the general party-stop will be lasting.
We will keep you up-to-date. We appreciate support in establishing and
implementing new awareness structures and we are happy about exchange
with other projects.

We know how important soli-parties are. The decision was not taken
easily and we hope that soon soli-parties will take place in NewYorck again.

For upcoming friday, 16.12.2016, was planned a bigger
anti-repression-costs soli-party in NewYorck, which now will not take
place here. We hope, that the group will find another space for the party. If
they will find another space, we will give you notice here.

With all the other groups who planned soli-parties in NewYorck from
January 2017 on, we will get in contact latest in the beginning of next
week.
